The Cameras are all driven By Abelcam Pro. The Main server runs on Pentium 4 3Ghz Pc. And Idles at about 50% CPU with all the cameras active.

The Webserver is ran from home via an ADSL line. This runs off windows and runs apache.

Camera 1:-

This Camera is Logitech Sphere. This was one of the first cameras i brought back before i knew about abelcam. The camera is about 6 years old and is still going strong. This camera connects to the main server directly via USB.

Camera 2 :-

This Camera is a analogue camera connected via AV the camera is a Sony CCTV Camera with a wide angle lens. It connects to the main abelcam server via Usb To Av convertor.

Camera 3 :-

This Camera is a Tyhoon Motion Camera. The camera has PTZ functions which are ran by abelcam pro on a remote windows pc. This pc then connects over a 3/4 mile wifi link back to the main server. This cam shows up on the main server as an agent.

Camera 4 :-

This Camera is a Logitech Sphere MP. The camera has PTZ funtions the quality of this camera is better than the orginal Sphere. This is connected to the main server directly via USB.

Camera 5 :-

This Camera is tempory and will write about it when i know what its going to be replaced with.

Camera 6 :-

This Camera is a Sitecom Ipcamera. The camera is connected via the Abelcam Agent. The quality of this camera is quite poor compared to the usb cameras.

Camera 7 :-

This Camera is the same as camera 6. Only Diffrence is this is the only camera which is not using Abelcam. The Images you see on the website are ftp uploaded to the webserver directly. The Live stream which is seen comes directly from the camera.

Camera 8 :-

This camera is A IcamView. This device is quite cool it uses 2 normal USB ports to connect the cameras. Then they are converted into Ipcameras. The PTZ for this camera is done directly from the device. This camera is connected to Abelcam Via the agent.

Camera 9 :-

This camera is A 1.2Ghz wireless camera. This camera is a tiny wireless camera, sometimes the quality can go quite poor this is due to the poor build of the reciver. This is then connected to a TV Card in the main abelcam server to get the Av Picture from the camera.

Camera 10 :-

This camera is a Swann Max Ipcamera. This camera is an ipcamera which can also see night vision. This camera is connected to abelcam via the network agent.
